We're recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Coordinator to take ownership of site safety programs within a fast-paced food manufacturing facility in Pedricktown, NJ.

This is a hands-on role split between the production floor and administrative responsibilities, with ownership of OSHA compliance, safety training, incident investigations and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Manage site Health & Safety programs and OSHA compliance
• Conduct safety inspections, audits and behavioral safety observations
• Identify production floor hazards and implement corrective actions
• Lead incident, injury and near-miss investigations
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis and manage corrective and preventative actions
• Maintain OSHA records, safety documentation and compliance reporting
• Develop and deliver employee, contractor and new-hire safety training
• Support LOTO, Hazard Communication, PPE, Respiratory Protection and Hearing Conservation programs
• Conduct workplace risk and ergonomics assessments
• Maintain SDS/GHS, emergency response and fire safety programs
• Track safety KPIs and report performance to site leadership
• Work with Production, Maintenance and Management to continuously improve safety performance

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years' Health & Safety / EHS experience within manufacturing
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations
• Incident investigation and Root Cause Analysis experience
• Experience conducting safety audits, inspections and risk assessments
• Knowledge of LOTO, Hazard Communication, PPE and industrial safety programs
• Experience developing and delivering employee safety training
• Strong documentation, communication and coaching skills
• Food, beverage, meat or protein manufacturing experience is strongly preferred
• Spanish-speaking ability is strongly preferred
• OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, Behavioral-Based Safety, ergonomics or industrial hygiene experience is advantageous

Schedule

• Primarily Day Shift
• Approximately 50% production floor / 50% administrative
• Flexibility to support later production hours when required
• Occasional Saturdays based on production needs
