We are working with an established Plastics Manufacturer based in Erie, PA. They are recruiting for an Maintenance Technician to join their team on any Shift in return for a salary in the region of $32 - $38 p/h along with shift differential, excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental.

Duties as an Maintenance Technician :

• Maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues including motors, controls
• Replace bearings, rewire motors, and test/verify repairs on automated systems
• Maintaining Injection Mold Machines
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated maintenance issues
• Welding and fabrication
• Participate in new equipment installations, upgrades and modifications and monitor PLC software
• Machinery installations and assembly
• Conducting preventative and reactive machinery maintenance
• Read schematics and maintenance manuals to perform repairs and installations

Qualifications & Experience required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of Machine Maintenance experience
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems in machinery and facilities
