We are working with an established precision engineering company based in Shepherdsville, KY. They are recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. They are offering a salary between $75,000 - $95,000 depending on experience, along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental and PTO

Key Responsibilities include:

• Providing engineering support for designing and manufacturing fixtures, machines, and tools, ensuring ergonomic and safety standards.
• Examines plans and specifications for new machinery and equipment to ascertain if all safety precautions have been included.
• Assists in preparing Failure Mode Affects Analysis Reports. Facilitates compliance with all OSHA regulations relating to the plant.
• Assisting in ergonomics programs and plant health and safety initiatives to prevent unsafe working conditions.
• Conducting plant surveys to assess exposure to hazards like noise, dust, fumes, and radiation.
• Ensuring compliance with Quality, Environmental, and Material Management systems, including ISO 14001 standards.
• Promoting a safety-conscious attitude, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents, and adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies per company and legal standards.

Qualifications & Experience required:

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Background in Automotive Manufacturing or similar (Preferred)
• Word processing
• Spreadsheets
• Databases
• AutoCAD
