We are seeking an experienced Plant Engineering Manager to lead site engineering and maintenance operations within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, facility performance, and operational excellence while driving safety, quality, cost, and delivery results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a plant engineering and maintenance organization to ensure equipment, utilities, and facilities operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with GMP, food safety, and security requirements.
• Set technical and operational direction to consistently achieve performance targets across safety, quality, service, and cost metrics.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement by embedding proactive behaviors, accountability, and data-driven decision-making.
• Establish and sustain preventive and predictive maintenance strategies that minimize downtime, extend asset life, and improve equipment availability.
• Direct the engineering function to support both immediate operational needs and long-term strategic objectives.
• Identify process, system, and capability gaps; lead root cause analysis efforts and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Own the facility capital planning process, including budget development, project justification, ROI evaluation, and spend control.
• Plan, prioritize, and track engineering and capital projects to ensure alignment with safety, quality, delivery, and cost expectations.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 5–7+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven success leading engineering, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated or high-volume production setting.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, reliability improvement, and process optimization methodologies.
